Crop Swappers
We play traditional American fiddle tunes especially at Transition Berkeley's Crop Swap in Ohlone Park near the North Berkeley BART station (at the cul-de-sac on Delaware St. between Sacramento and California Sts.) on summer and fall Monday evenings at 6:30pm. Music starts at 6:15pm and keeps going for quite a while! Bring something that you grew, and leave with something that someone else grew.
The core group (pictured above) is Tony Phillips on fiddle, Catherine Rose Crowther on guitar, and Sam Evans on banjo — but frequently we swap around instruments, and various friends regularly join the group.
